Our Story: The Origin of QPC
The Quiet Piggy Club began in a moment that too many women and allies instantly recognized — a moment when a woman simply doing her job was mocked, reduced, or dismissed by someone in power. When the word “piggy” was used publicly to belittle a journalist, it resonated as more than just a one-off insult. It echoed generations of women being minimized for their voices, their appearance, their strength, and their truth.
Instead of shrinking from it, we choose to reclaim it through community building.
QPC transforms what was meant to diminish into a shared identity, turning insult into iconography, exclusion into belonging, and quiet into a force all its own. We created a modern, inclusive club for women and allies who have been underestimated, interrupted, talked over, or told to stay in their place. Our logo’s design carries that story forward. The elegant “Q” in QPC includes a discreet curl, a subtle nod to the pig tail, transformed from a slur into a symbol of solidarity. Housed inside a refined club-style shield, the crest represents dignity, unity, and the courage to define ourselves on our own terms. It’s classic by design and rebellious by intention.
